Throughout the year volunteer work groups participate in the
various programs and ministries of Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries. We rely
on these "missionaries" to provide materials for construction or
repair of facilities at our facilities in Bayview and Los Fresnos; to assist
with emergency repairs for storm-damaged homes of needy families; to construct
"Casitas" (small homes) in Matamoros;
to help with children's ministries at Casa Bethel orphanage in Matamoros and other tasks. This mission work
requires careful planning by work groups.
